So, I've been doing some comparisons for original stories of beloved fairy tale movies--such as Disney's Aladdin, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast (though I hope to later touch on some Bluth originals like Thumbelina and Anastasia as well). It's a lot of fun. Sometimes, the original stories have more depth than the ones we see today. Others, like Aladdin...well, we see why so much of the original was changed over the years. However, it's always good to know both stories. Sometimes, just because the story is different from the original doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. (After all, how similar is Oliver and Company to Oliver Twist, or The Lion King to Hamlet?)
I've got some great ideas for comparisons. However, if there is a story you'd like to hear the origin story to, be sure to let me know! I'd be glad to consider it! Thanks for viewing!
